Anushka Dakshit is a journalist from Tampa, now based in Brooklyn (but a Florida girl forever 🍊). She covers music & culture as it relates to identity, community, and sociopolitics. Her work has appeared in GQ magazine, The Conversationalist, andVogue. Currently, she is completing a master’s degree in arts & culture journalism at Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY and is a freelance fact checker at GQ magazine.
